RI Life Sciences Hub Grants
The RI Life Science Hub has announced $20 million in new grant funding available to foster innovation, attract new businesses & support early-stage companies in Rhode Island. Two separate grant applications have been posted: the Organization Programming Grants and the Business Attraction Grants. Each grant opportunity varies in eligibility and the allotted amount available. Applications for all grants close on December 31st at 1 PM

The 2025 Rhode Island Nature Video Festival
The seventh annual festival will be hosted by Rhode Island College on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m.
All styles of nature video are welcome, from a single encounter to edited and narrated storytelling and documentation. All amateurs and professionals should send their submissions to Greg Gerritt at gerritt@mindspring.com by 8 p.m. Jan. 15. Email Greg or call him at 401-374-5186 with questions.

Bootstrap Bootcamp is a holistic entrepreneur-leadership training program that focuses not only on starting businesses but also spends a considerable amount of time developing individuals as entrepreneur-leaders.

PHUC (pronounced fook), is a contemporary trio based in New York City, comprised of drummer Caleb Cronan, saxophonist Jake D’Ambra & bassist James Heston.Their repertoire is fueled by counterpoint and interplay centered around original compositions. In December 2024, they will be releasing their third studio album, You Have the Floor.
