Rhode Island College invites applicants for the position of Coordinator, Research Administration Collaborative. This is a full-time position, that is grant funded and is renewable contingent upon continued funding.
 
The Research Administration Collaborative Coordinator at Rhode Island College will join the team during an exciting time at the College and will have the chance to provide critical leadership in the Office of Sponsored Program and for the wider campus. The College is experiencing new energy and momentum, fueled by a dynamic new President, a fresh leadership team, and a bold new strategic plan. Reporting to the Director Sponsored Programs, the Research Administration Collaborative Coordinator will lead the implementation of our grant activities under the NSF funded GRANTED program.
 
The Research Administration Collaborative Coordinator will assist in the successful implementation of programmatic activities of the Research Administration Collaborative through the GRANTED program, a project funded by the National Science Foundation. Assist in the outreach, recruitment, and supervision of undergraduate students, many from underrepresented communities, who will be trained and placed in research administration opportunities. Develop training and support curricula, in conjunction with Research Administration career pathways, provide academic advising, personal and career counseling services, and assist with placement in a micro-credential program. Provide leadership in implementing educational workshops for students and professional development for Research Administration staff. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to project objectives.  Assist in implementation of pre-post award initiatives.
