    Part-time TEMP Position - $25 per hour

    What it’s all about: 

    This part-time temp position, 15-20 hours per week, is accountable for the efficient and accurate processing of loans and other records pertaining to a variety of Community Lending Programs to ensure appropriate compliance and efficient customer service.

     What you’ll do on a daily basis:         

    • The incumbent processes applications to determine program eligibility requirements.  The incumbent must possess the ability to explain the program guidelines related to Community Lending Programs including, but not limited to  Access Independence II and the Clean Water Program.
    • The incumbent must the technical skills to review application documentation, prepare loan estimates and disclosures, to ensure applicant meets all program requirements; obtain credit reports ensure payment option is appropriate for applicant; prior to underwriting approval and closing.
    • In addition to the daily functions listed above, the incumbent also prepares loan set up packages for servicing and purchase of each loan after disbursement on the Integra System.
    • Additional duties include informing the general public of the guidelines and procedures associated with Community Lending Programs, and in this regard, attending trade shows and industry events as directed. 
    • The incumbent will work closely with the Manager on special projects. 

     What you’ll bring to the team:

    • Perform a variety of processing, data entry, documentation and research functions on a daily basis.
    • Process loan applications to determine eligibility and to explain program guidelines for Access Independence ll and the Clean Water Program.
    • Satisfiy conditional commitments; obtain credit reports and ensure proper procedures and timeframes are adhered to when submitting loans to underwriting for approval.
    • Perform special projects and research as assigned.

     What you’ll need to succeed:

    • Two years residential mortgage loan processing and closing experience and exposure to mortgage servicing functions
    • Working knowledge of FNM and HUD loan programs
    • Good verbal and written communications skills
    • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and computer skills
    • Associate’s degree in business administration, real estate or related field
    • Bilingual ability preferred (particularly Spanish or Portuguese)
