Have you heard what’s coming to Providence in February?
Let me tell you all about Track 15 —- a vibrant, eclectic food hall that’s sure to become a haven for foodies looking for an authentic gustatory experience with a little bit of railroad history thrown in.
Check out these stunning images of what’s to come.

I got a chance to see construction crews at work the other day with Chris Marsella and his Dad, famed downtown developer Ron Marsella. They are the geniuses behind this imaginative endeavor.
Track 15 will be home to seven Rhode Island-based restaurateurs each offering a unique ethnic cuisine. Spread over 18,000 square feet, guests will enjoy a large central bar, indoor and outdoor seating for approximately 600 patrons, an entertainment venue, and a 10,000 square foot plaza for special events.
You probably recognize the location — right next door to Chamber Headquarters on Exchange Terrace within the historic Union Station complex.
The food hall’s name, Track 15, is a nod to Union Station’s earliest days as the hub of New England’s rail transportation network, supporting the machinery, textile, and jewelry industries that fueled the growth and future of Providence. Built in 1898, the original Union Station consisted of 14 intercity railroad lines and operated until the rivers were moved in 1986. The logo shown below captures the concept perfectly.
Marsella Development Corporation and the Marsella family, longstanding visionaries in the City of Providence, partnered with acclaimed Convivium Hospitality Group to redevelop the historically important space
Rhode Island-based Vision 3 is the architect and Boston-based CM&B is the construction management firm, bringing to the project a wealth of experience in building food halls around the U.S.
All of us at the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce are excited about having new neighbors. Stay tuned for a special event for Chamber members at Track 15 in late February, early March 2025.
