    Rhode Island College invites applicants for the position of Coordinator, HR (Generalist). This is a full-time, calendar year, continuing position.

    The HR Coordinator (Generalist) is responsible for applying HR knowledge to support and effectively execute best practices that will ensure effective business operations, regulatory compliance, and strong employee relations. The HR Generalist is a strategic, hands-on and collaborative role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to Rhode Island College and supports multiple functional areas of the Department. This role is expected to be a key contributor to the delivery of innovative and impactful HR initiatives and practices.

    Required qualifications:
    Associate’s degree in business administration or other related field, and a minimum of four (4) years related experience working in Human Resources or a Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in a related field and a minimum of two (2) years related experience working in Human Resources.

    Preferred qualifications:
    -PHR or SHRM-CP certification
    -Bilingual
    -Experience with Workday, PeopleSoft & PeopleAdmin.
    -Project Management experience related technology utilization and workflow improvements, which impact HR Department policies/practices.
