Rhode Island College invites applicants for the position of Assistant Payroll Manager, Payroll Office. This is a full-time, calendar year, continuing position.
The individual will supervise the daily operations and functions of a payroll office including, but not limited to, internal payroll, payroll accounting, payroll distribution and payroll adjustments.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least two (2) years of professional experience within a payroll environment as well as demonstrated training and/or supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Thorough knowledge of payroll principles and processing
- Attentiveness to detail and accuracy are imperative
- Ability to manage confidential material
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a college or university setting.
- Demonstrated experience with PeopleSoft/Oracle or similar ERP systems.
- Bilingual
