The Small Business Administration (SBA) provides the following programs:

7(a) Loan Program

Proceeds may be used to establish a new business or to assist in the acquisition, operation or expansion of an existing business.


504 Loan Program

Offers another avenue for small business financing while promoting growth and job creation.

Microloan Program

Provides small, short-term loans to small businesses and certain types of not-for-profit child-care centers. The maximum loan amount is $50,000, but the average microloan is about $13,000.
