On April 23, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the $484 billion aid package delivering additional emergency COVID-19 relief funding. The Senate passed the measure on Wednesday night.
The legislation includes an infusion of $321 billion for the Paycheck Protection Program, $60 billion in economic disaster funds for small businesses, $75 billion for hospitals and $25 billion for coronavirus testing.
Chamber President Laurie White caught up with Congressmen James Langevin and David Cicilline shortly after the House vote to get their insights into the aid package and what may be on deck for further COVD-19 relief.
